The unique external high-performance alternator regulator Zeus from ARCO optimizes battery charges for 12 volt to 48 volt systems, regardless of whether Lithium batteries (LiFePo4) or lead-acid batteries are installed on board. For this optimization of the individual charging profile (depending on the battery type), customers can access a large number of standard battery configurations and make their own configurations.
The ARCO charge controller not only takes into account the output of the alternator, but also the output of the engine that drives the alternator (configurable). In addition, the output of the alternator can be increased with a press of the button, converting the engine into a generator and charging the battery bank directly and as efficiently as possible.
Zeus is the only Bluetooth alternator regulator that can read two shunts at a time - the battery shunt and the alternator shunt. This feature enables the charge controller to react to inputs from the battery current & temperature and the alternator current & temperature accordingly and to ensure optimum charge control.
As the first regulator on the market with built in State of Charge, an additional state of charge monitor is no longer necessary. The device can be configured and controlled via Bluetooth and without additional equipment, using ARCO’s own app (for Android and IOS). The intuitive user interface, which is unique on the market, allows access to all relevant information and enables system regulation and optimization of the battery charge and alternator output. The advantage of this is safe and efficient battery charging processes that are adapted to the system and protect the on-board electronics.
Automatic data logging makes it possible to share all information with ARCO's technical support if required, so that they can remotely implement any troubleshooting or import new configurations directly.

Data logging and sharing: The alternator’s performance and settings are automatically logged wirelessly. Setting files and performance logs can be communicated to technical support with a push of a button, and support can import and automatically configure a technician's recommendations remotely.
CAN bus and NMEA 2000-integrated networks make it possible to transmit relevant data to RV navigation systems, multifunction displays (MFDs), or marine chart Plotters.
